Not just a question of ATTRACT but also HIRE ie pick a decent manager. After Avram and BFS I do have concerns regarding who they'd hire.

What is a decent manager?
Is BFS a decent manager?

1964
He signed his first contract on 1st June 2011.
So I think it's fair to assume his second contract expires on 31st May 2015.
Knowing the cunt though, there's probably small print extending it to the end of time.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
The money is here and with the move coming we should be easily able to sell the club's future as an exciting project.

Unfortunately I think the way the club is run is unhealthy. The three in charge are all media whores who seem to add a circus element to the club rather than running it as a top class football club, with the chairman's sons trapping off as well it just creates a sense of small time.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
4 million? I doubt it. Surely all they'd have to do is pay him to the end of his contract in July or whatever. Can't be more than 3 months, whatever that would be, 1 mill tops I reckon.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
All Walrus's entourage will have contracts expiring the same date as him. The only ones I'd keep if they want to stay are the medical people and the goalkeeping coach whose arrival coincided with Adrian's new found confidence.

Allardyce can fuck off on gardening leave and Ted can caretake until season's end. If he doesn't want it, persuade Sir Trev to come in for a few weeks to lift the fucking gloom.

Bilic ? Great? why's that then

It just needs a statement. We don't have to pay him off. We just need to know the cunt won't be here next season.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
I suspect the delay has more to do with:

- lack of clarity on the availability of other candidates until seasons end

- possible 'riders' in Sam's contract regardless of if 38 games or two games remain

- the logistics of getting a clean break i.e. he has parked a lot of cronies in the WHU business, both in the backroom and in the team via Curtis

- financial uncertainty: finishing position etc (Sam was obviously aware that a high finish would give more financial clout and make the role more desirable too, hence he has pissed on the chips)

we just have to pay the cunt the remainder of his contract. the biggest cost will be paying off entourage of yes men and hangers on

Sam is helping them.

If we were putting decent performances and got rid of him, West Ham would look like unreasonable people to work for.

Thanks, Sam.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
The only way we have to pay him 4m is of we go back in time and sack him when we should've.

dry roasted 5:44 Sun Apr 19
Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
it will drag on until the end of the season unfortunately, let him go before his contract is finished and we will need to pay him £4m or something like that, let's get the season over with I'm sure the owners are working hard at trying to get Benitez in the door, Klopp would be great and Bilic also great!

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
On a more positive note, I really do think the bulk of this squad is more than capable going forwards.

The problems are motivational, and most acutely the 'subliminal war' raging between Allardyce and Sulli. Sulli doesn't want to pay him off (as a matter of principle) and who can blame him - he sees it as making Sam sit in his own shit.

Trouble is, we are ALL (including the players) sitting in it as well now...

And I fear the lid is going to explode off the situation BEFORE season end at this rate.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
The longer they back Allardyce the less credibility they will come out with. They're a pair of cunts to be honest.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
Just to add, it totally makes sense to get rid of BFS now. It clearly isn't working, the players are not playing for him. Needs a good shake-up and see who wants to play for us next season.

COOL HAND LUKE 5:36 Sun Apr 19
Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
Sulli needs a big pair of balls on this one - it has to be done.

Not an easy call for him though, with Goldo and Brady snivelling around on it.

Rock and a hard place...

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
No.

They money involved in a Klopp/Benitez appointment is neglible given we are supposed to be bidding £30m for a player.

This HAS to be our priority and the kitchen sink needs throwing at it.

the exile 5:29 Sun Apr 19
Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
I simply cannot believe they will keep BFS. It's an open secret that they've been looking at various options, and there can only be two reasons for that: plan A is that they definitely want to replace BFS; plan B is that they were trying to put the wind up BFS to up his game. Plan B seems to have failed spectacularly, so it has to be plan A.

As for attracting someone decent, we'll be lucky to get Klopp or Benitez, but I don't buy these comments from people like Bilic denying that they're interested. Quite frankly though, I'd take the fucking Chuckle Brothers over Allardyce at the moment.
